We have our new bishop

4th ballot part 2 results are the same. Next ballot for top 2 needs a simple majority to elect our new bishop

Top 3 did not change, and are on 4th ballot. 60% vote needed to be elected.

After discovering a glitch in the voting devices, we have gone back to the 3rd ballot using paper ballots. This is extending the length of the assembly as the ballots are counted by humans and not electronically. I had already planned to be home around midnight because I have a synod council meeting following assembly, so I'll see where we land with this change of plans, and keep you posted on the election.

4th ballot results: needed to have 60% to elect. 5th ballot will be top 2 names

As we are reading the Bible in a year, today's reading is Proverbs 26. While it is not actually summer, it is the last days of school or already summer vacation for several schools in South Dakota that had a 2hr delay for snow today!

Youth group met for the last time this school year. We had such great year with a fun bunch! Thank you to everyone that helped out with youth group in any way.😊 We are going to miss our seniors and exchange students and wish them the best of luck❤️🙏

Foreign exchange student Zhengyi (Jerry) Chen received his senior quilt today. It is a tradition in the Prairie Fellowship Parish that each senior receives a quilt. Jerry would like to thank everyone for welcoming him into our church family, the support he has received and for the beautiful quilt.
